Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Tim has been around the block in multiple genres from jazz to classic rock to punk and R&B. "I've played venues, casinos, bars, open mics and car garages.      Inspired by the punk, grunge and alternative music of the 1990s, Tim instantly latched on to his favorite albums, learning them by ear. Later, learned the importance of playing in a group setting during high school including their jazz band and other ensembles. Throughout performing at jazz competitions in the tri-state area, Tim received sectional and soloist awards at local competitions as well as annual trips to Myrtle Beach and Virginia for music festivals. After high school, Tim dove deeper into the jazz idiom, idolizing the great players Joe Pass & Wes Montgomery, taking notes along the way.
